Meet the Principals

Dr. Nick Neiderhouse, Principal

Dr. Nick Neiderhouse

I am entering my first year as the principal of Rossford Jr./Sr. High School.  However, I am also entering my fourteenth year as a school administrator.  My career spans the K-12 and higher education gamut as I taught at a middle school, was a dean of students at a primary building, a high school assistant principal, and an intermediate school principal for the past eleven years.  I have also enjoyed instructing graduate students at both Bowling Green State University and Concordia University of Chicago.  My undergraduate degree is from Defiance College in Middle Childhood Education and my Master’s and Doctoral Degree are from Bowling Green State University in administration and leadership studies.

Personally, I am married with two children.  We enjoy playing sports, attending sporting events, and playing with our dog, Ziggy Zoomba.  Even though my wife and I are “Falcon Flames,” we also root for the Buckeyes too and enjoy trips to Columbus.  We are excited about cheering on the Rossford Bulldogs this upcoming season in the amazing athletic facilities that our district offers.

Communication is extremely important for a successful school year.  If you should ever have a need to reach me, please call the school office at 419-666-5262 ext. 6, or email me at [email protected].

You can also follow the school on social media on X @RossfordJrSrHS or Instagram @Rossfordjrsrhs.  We will be sharing positive news from around the district on these platforms.

Mr. Matt Beakas, Assistant Principal

My name is Matt Beakas and I am an Assistant Principal of Rossford Jr/Sr High School.

After graduation, I became a Falcon at Bowling Green State University. I obtained both my Bachelor's and Master's degree from Bowling Green State University. After graduation, I began my teaching career at the junior high school level and spent thirteen years in that position before moving to a Dean of Students role, for the past four years. Last year I began the process of completing my doctorate at Liberty University in Educational Leadership, with a cognate in Special Education.

I'm married and have two daughters. Throughout the year, we spend a considerable amount of time on the diamond with travel softball. My children play for the Magic organization and are both looking to try and play one day at the collegiate level.

As the Assistant Principal, my goal is to help foster an environment where students, families, and staff can collaborate in a safe, productive, and respectful environment. I am extremely passionate about STEAM, personalized learning pathways, and student leadership opportunities. It's such an exciting time to be a Rossford Bulldog and we take great pride in the academic programming and extracurricular activities offered by our team.

While teachers have a tremendous impact on a child's educational experience, parents are every bit as important. Consistent communication, trust, and feedback is crucial to a successful educational experience, so please feel free to contact me at [email protected] should you have any questions or concerns.
