My name is Matt Beakas and I am an Assistant Principal of Rossford Jr/Sr High School.
After graduation, I became a Falcon at Bowling Green State University. I obtained both my Bachelor's and Master's degree from Bowling Green State University. After graduation, I began my teaching career at the junior high school level and spent thirteen years in that position before moving to a Dean of Students role, for the past four years. Last year I began the process of completing my doctorate at Liberty University in Educational Leadership, with a cognate in Special Education.
I'm married and have two daughters. Throughout the year, we spend a considerable amount of time on the diamond with travel softball. My children play for the Magic organization and are both looking to try and play one day at the collegiate level.
As the Assistant Principal, my goal is to help foster an environment where students, families, and staff can collaborate in a safe, productive, and respectful environment. I am extremely passionate about STEAM, personalized learning pathways, and student leadership opportunities. It's such an exciting time to be a Rossford Bulldog and we take great pride in the academic programming and extracurricular activities offered by our team.
While teachers have a tremendous impact on a child's educational experience, parents are every bit as important. Consistent communication, trust, and feedback is crucial to a successful educational experience, so please feel free to contact me at

Go Bulldogs!!
